Set within the grounds of a grade two listed building, our brief was to create a subtle, natural looking pool but with practicality as a design priority. We therefore selected a dark, slate effect porcelain to give a reflective, natural water colour with a smooth, easy to clean surface. The automatic safety cover has been neatly integrated into a below ground enclosure allowing maximum debris protection and great heat retention.
The pool is heated via a low noise air source heat pump and the Mineral+Biome filtration plant is tucked away in a small green-roofed timber plant room. We integrated an EVA optic lighting scheme to give the pool a calm glow in the evenings and all fittings within the pool are the most robust 316L marine grade stainless steel for maximum longevity.
