This elegant basement pool in London was an opportunity to showcase several unique design details in a stunning setting. The pool has a refined level-deck edge detail utilising a bespoke double slot drainage channel to draw water into the Mineral+Biome filtration system via a balance tank to keep the water level with the pool surround. The pool is tiled with a stone effect porcelain tile which runs up to the brick feature wall. The client wanted a light green/aquamarine water colour so we used a Wibre RGB lighting scheme to set the water colour to her precise preference. A fibre optic strip light runs along the base of the pool as a striking lane divider.
A heatstar air handling system heats the pool water, pool hall air and keeps humidity levels under control via supply and return air grilles hidden within the industrial beam structure of the vaulted ceiling.
