Our design process
We work using various CAD and BIM software platforms and are well versed in both remote and in-person collaboration with other professionals. Every project’s life cycle is different and therefore our design services can be adapted based on what you really need from us. Some of our typical packages include:
- Preliminary Design and Consultancy – Suited to projects in RIBA stages 0-3 we can provide consultancy from the initial forming of a brief to pre-planning drawings. Often just a few hours of consultancy at an early stage can make a huge difference to the efficiency of the rest of the design process. It enables you to design freely around a defined set of constraints rather than relying on assumptions avoiding un-necessary revisions.
- Detailed/Developed Design – Suited to projects in RIBA stages 4 and 5 our detailed design package includes detailed construction drawings for the pool basin, waterproofing and finish details, filtration, heating/air-handling, pipework and ductwork design, fittings and in-pool lighting schemes, edge detailing, schematics and technical data.
- Performance Specification – A detailed performance specification for a pool enables a full view of how the pool will operate and how it will be maintained. This gives end clients an understanding of the user experience.
