CWR do not sell your data to any 3rd parties.

CWR considers your data protection and privacy to be of paramount importance. We never sell personal data and we undertake all processing operations in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) (specifically but not limited to Article 6(1)(b) to (f) and Article 28).

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy:

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Prospective Client: An individual, a married or cohabiting couple, and agency, body, company or similar who are interested, or may be interested, in CWR’s services or products.

Client: An individual, a married or cohabiting couple, an agency, body, company or similar who have engaged CWR to deliver/provide one or a number of CWR’s services or products.

Client’s agent: A Landscape Architect, Architects, Landscapers, Builders/Contractors, M&E consultant or similar who makes contact with CWR on behalf of a client of a prospective client, or who is/are put in contact with CWR by a client or prospective client or who CWR determine has a legitimate interest in our services or products.

Usage Data means data such as but not limited to your browsing software and settings, browsing device type, actions taken, order of pages viewed, time spent on site.

Cookies A cookie is a small file type designed to process/log information on how you can or have interacted with the website.

Lawful bases for processing personal data


Pool Build/Filtration and Landscaping 
Prospective Clients

  • We have identified that our lawful bases for processing the personal data of prospective clients or a prospective client agent (Landscape Architects, Architects, Landscapers, Builders/Contractors etc) is Legitimate Interest because we process their personal data in ways they would reasonably expect, and which have minimal privacy impact.
  • Our processing is necessary because we cannot reasonably achieve the same result in another less intrusive way.

Pool Build/Filtration and Landscape Actual Clients

  • We have identified that our lawful basis for processing the personal data of our clients is Contract because we will use it to fulfil our contractual obligations to our clients; or because prospective clients or their agents have asked us to do something before entering into a contract (eg. provide a quote in the form of a fee proposal).
  • Our processing is necessary because we could not reasonably do what our clients want without processing their personal data.

Legitimate interests

  • We rely on legitimate interests as one of the lawful bases for processing, and our business has applied the three-part test and can demonstrate we have fully considered and protected the individual’s rights and interests.

What kind of Personal Data is processed and for what purpose?

1.Usage Data
When you visit our site we store the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visited us from, the parts of our site you visit, the date and duration of your visit, and information from the device (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you are located in, and web browser type) you used during your visit.

We only capture and store a truncated version of your IP address. It is captured and stored in an anonymized format by suppressing the last octet so your full IP address never reaches our servers and we never have access to it.

We process this usage data to facilitate your access to our services (e.g. to adjust our services/website to the device you are using), and to recognise and stop any misuse. We also process usage data in an anonymised form for statistical purposes and to improve our site usability.

2. Cookies
CWR uses cookies to process information including standard internet log information and details of the visitor’s behavioral patterns upon visiting our site.
This is done to provide you with a better experience, and to facilitate the use of certain functions. Cookies are small data files transferred onto computers or devices by sites for record-keeping purposes and to enhance site functionality. CWR stores this information in a pseudo-anonymized user profile.

CWR does not process this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user.

3. Contact with us via email or Webform
On our site you have the opportunity to contact us to ask us questions, request brochures or meetings via and email (info@clear-water-revival.com) or our contact form. In that form, we ask you for your contact information (e.g. name, email address etc.) and information relating to the pool project you are contacting us about. We use this data solely in connection with answering your queries and facilitating our future interactions regarding your project. We do not sell or pass on any of this data to 3rd parties for use in marketing.

However, it may be the case we have to interact with or work with a supplier (for example and architect, contractor) on your behalf, or at your request. In these circumstances, it may be necessary to exchange project information required to discharge our work.
If you receive emails from us, we may use certain analytics tools, to capture data for example, such as when you open our email or click on any links or banners our email contains. This data helps us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications or marketing campaigns.

How can you Unsubscribe?

You may unsubscribe here from receiving content – such as invitations to pool ‘Open Day’ events, Newsletter emails, new brochures, or any contact at all via email.

Following an unsubscribe request we may retain your personal data (in part or in whole) on a suppression list (or similar) in order to meet any regulatory and reporting requirements for the timeframes stipulated by law and in order to be able to address customer service issues and to ensure we don’t accidentally market to you in the future.

Any other personal data we would have been processing on your behalf would be deleted permanently within the time frames set out by law.

Access and Disclosure to Third Parties

We use a select number of trusted external service providers for certain technical data analysis, processing and/or storage offerings.

These service providers are carefully selected and meet high data protection and security standards. We only share information with them that is required for the services they offer us and we contractually bind them to keep any information we share with them confidential and to process Personal Data only according to our instructions.

There are no other circumstances where we would pass data on to third parties without your express consent unless we are obliged to do so by statutory law or an instruction by a public authority or court.

We may occasionally send you notification emails about updates to our filtration technology products, legal documents, offer customer support or marketing emails. Except for cases where we are required to do so by law (e.g. notifying you of a data breach), you shall have the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving these messages free of charge.
